Explore another language and culture this summer at the Foreign Language Institute. Kids will enjoy learning basic language skills, try out international cuisine, and create arts and crafts based on traditional cultural methods.

French

July 17-20 | 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. | Register by July 7

Instructor: Matthew Eubanks

Language: Students will learn basic French vocabulary including greetings, family relations, food, holidays, and art.

Culture: Students will learn to prepare crepes, discuss French holidays, traditions, and art, and complete art projects based on cultural discussions.

German

July 17-20 | 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. | Register by July 7

Instructor: Veronica De Munoz

Language: Students will learn basic German vocabulary including greetings, family relations, food, holidays, and art.

Culture: Students will learn to prepare a traditional German dish, discuss German holidays, traditions, and art, and complete art projects based on cultural discussions.

Japanese

July 24-27 | 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. | Register by July 14

Instructor: Jane Elliston

Language: Students will learn basic Japanese vocabulary including greetings, family relations, food, holidays, and art.

Culture: Students will learn to prepare a traditional Japanese dish, discuss Japanese holidays, traditions, and art, and complete art projects based on cultural discussions.

Spanish
